Virginia Society for Human Life
WHAT WE DO:  Promote the Right to Life in Virginia through education, legislation and political action.

• The right to life is inalienable.
• Unborn babies should be protected in law.
• The dependent elderly, those who live with disability or chronic illness, or the terminally ill should be protected from active & inactive euthanasia.
• Women facing unplanned pregnancies should be supported emotionally, spiritually and materially so that abortion does not feel like her only choice.
• We support legislation which respects and protects the right to life of each member of the human family, both before and after birth.
• We work peacefully within the law in order to change the law.      

Who we are:  VSHL is a non-sectarian organization. The common thread uniting our membership is a respect for all innocent human life from fertilization to natural death.

 

   The Virginia Society for Human Life is a 501 C 4 organization.     

The VSHL Educational Fund is a tax deductible 501 C 3 organization.

 

The Virginia Society for Human Life Political Action Committee (PAC) is a 527 organization under the IRS tax code.

 

The purpose of VSHL PAC is to further the aims of VSHL in promoting the respect and protection of human life through political means.

 

Our goal is to help identify candidates for political office who respect human life.

 

Unlike our 501 C 4 and 501 C 3 organizations, the PAC is at liberty to freely disseminate information about specific political candidates and educate voters as to who really is the prolife candidate.

 

We do, however, restrict our issues to the prolife issue.
